Carl Hester is one of the greatest ever equestrians, leading Great Britain to gold medal victory at the London 2012 Olympics.

Carl grew up on the remote Channel Island of Sark, moving to the UK mainland at the age of 16 to work with horses. He could never have predicted what a great affinity he would have for dressage. Carl's career enjoyed a stratospheric rise as he progressed from working as a groom/rider to riding international dressage horses full time for renowned owners Dr and Mrs Bechtolsheimer, to training his own horses, and other top riders, to international success.

2011 European Dressage Championship
In 2011 Hester riding the horse Uthopia was part of the British team that won the team gold medal at the 2011 European Dressage Championships in Rotterdam. Hester also won individual silver medals in the Grand Prix Freestyle and Grand Prix Special.

2012 Olympics
In 2012, Hester was selected with three others to represent the United Kingdom at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The UK dressage team won the gold medal with Hester riding Uthopia.

In the New Year Honours 2013, the Queen appointed Hester as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to equestrianism.

2016 Olympics
In 2016, Hester again represented the UK at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and helped the team secure the Silver Medal.

2020 - Carl is aiming for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

The clinic will start at approximately 9am on Saturday, and at noon on Sunday (to give people time to go to church on Easter!). Both days are all day with 6 riders and Saturday will have an hour lunch break. There will also be autograph signing at the end of the day on Saturday. Bring a copy of Carl's book to get it signed!

We have three types of tickets available: VIP tables, VIP seats and General Admission seats.

VIP tables and VIP seats will include lunch both days and VIP priority parking. Note that parking is off site from Peridot, but VIP table seat-holders will receive complimentary valet parking (tips not included).

Grab your barn mates and horse show friends, and fill a table for ring side seating, VIP parking and delicious lunches both days of the clinic! VIP seats are randomly assigned by the event organizer.

General Admission seating will include one seat near the arena and a free shuttle service from a nearby parking lot. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the clinic.
